Thankful

I am thankful for so many things. I want to list just a few as the day set out just for that quickly approaches.

I am thankful for God and Jesus for what they have given me.
I am thankful for my sweet wonderful husband for all the love he shows me.
I am thankful for my three adorable children for the moments we share.
I am thankful for my Mom for what she has taught me.
I am thankful for my sister who is my very best friend.
I am thankful for all my in-laws (brothers, sisters, mom and dad) I have a blast hanging out with them. (not everyone can say that) :)
I am thankful that there are planes so I can see my family who I miss everyday.
I am thankful for my church and all the many friends that I have made there.
I am thankful for love, life, and laughter.
All of the above give me that and so much more.
I could go on and on but I won't.....mainly because one of my adorable children is needing me and I am very thankful that she does.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. God Bless.

School Program

Today was Jonathan's Thanksgiving program at school. Jonathan was an Indian. I thought he looked so cute all dressed up. He has had several dress up days at school, he has been a knight and a farmer. The Indian though was the best. To see him up on the stage always makes me a little teary eyed. I am so proud of him. We had a Thanksgiving Feast after the program and he really liked that. Ashley was able to go to the program also because she is out of school for the Thanksgiving break so that was nice. I am very thankful that we have ways to capture these special moments. I truly love them.

Too Fast

It seems like my kids want to grow up too fast. Julia seems to want to crawl already. She can't of course but she tries so hard to push up onto her knees and move. She is my little mover and shaker. Jonathan can hardly wait to go to Kindergarten and then there is Ashley. She wants to wear makeup already. It seems a little early to me. Of course she does the whole everyone at school wears it. I guess they always try that even though it has never worked for her in the past. She is twelve almost thirteen. I can't remember for sure when I started wearing makeup, maybe thirteen. I didn't really start wearing it on a regular bases until I was in my early twenties. I guess I just don't see the point. She looks beautiful without it at least to me. Well, just one of the many things to come up over the next several teen years I suppose. I just wish they would all slow down just a little.

Halloween

Halloween is not my favorite day of the year but I do love seeing my kids all dressed up. We also have a good time on the hayride that we do in our neighborhood. We go from house to house trick or treating. We end at one house for a bonfire and cookout. Jonathan loves it and Ashley thinks the bonfire is the best since she is a little too old for the trick or treating part. Julia was so cute and she did pretty well in the candy department. YA, for mommy and daddy. :)
